PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES TO
THE DENTAL PROFESSION FOR 25 YEARS

In 1986, the corporation of Atlanta Design Associates, Inc. (ADA) was created to specialize in full service health care architecture with a special emphasis on dental facilities. ADA was organized and is principally owned by Gary Kirkus and Gary Lowery, two individuals with a combined 60+ years of dental project experience. ADA has been involved in well over two thousand projects, with current projects in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Alabama. ADA was created with the support of Atlanta Dental Supply Company, a respected name in the dental industry.
The year 1994 presented a time of rapid growth for ADA. With an increase in its design staff, it became necessary for ADA to upgrade to a larger design facility. Within a period of twelve months, ADA relocated three times, finally settling at a new facility designed exclusively to support their growing number of visiting Dental Clients. The design and location of the ADA support facility offers total comfort in a stress-free environment, allowing our clients to make design selection and construction decisions with ease. This facility was the first its kind in the southeast.

Before this time of growth, ADA had already made the commitment to advance into the 21st century with state-of-the-art technology which would enable us to efficiently develop our projects. ADA produces working drawings via AutoCAD, an bindustry standard design-based software. We realize however that as proficient as computers may be, it still cannot diminish nor replace hands-on practical experience. ADA has an accumulated experience base of over 100 years in all areas of design and construction. Our success has been driven by solid philosophies, talented people, and superior design technology.

As the decade ended, ADA continued to adapt. New methods of communicating via technology were implemented, along with another move to our current design facility. Again, ADA’s focus was based on providing our clients with the very best design experience possible at our facility, combined with the latest internet-based technologies available today. In addition, a new emphasis was placed on developing a “menu” of affordable services which provides our clients with the flexibility to choose a package that best fits their personality and project needs.

Atlanta Design Associates has served Dentistry for over 25 years by providing Interior Design, Architectural, & consulting services to the Dental Profession. ADA is one of the few all-inclusive dental-design architectural firms in the country and is by far the most experienced & comprehensive. As technology, the economy, & communication methods continue to evolve, our founding principles continue to b e a significant factor in the projects which we are privileged to be a part of.
